![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Roger Hobbs is certainly a name to look out for from now on and the narrator Jake Weber did a pretty good job too. It is an excellent book and a worthy award winner. The San Francisco Chronicle Detail and pacing- Ghostman is great at both. The New York Journal of Books Richly imagined and darkly facinating. Never knowing what will come next makes Ghostman a true nailbiter. ![]() This is a novel that's just packed full of baddies! They're all up to no good and there's no room for heroes, at least in the conventional sense. Ghostman is a slam bang, gritty, down and dirty, law breaking journey into the underworld in which honor among thieves is a serious joke. If you made a film of this book, what would be the tag line be? The bank heist that takes place in a sky-scraper. More importantly, it doesn't at all confuse the listener.You'll find both stories compelling in their own rights. Don't let this put you off because this is done SO skilfully that it really does lend a special 'edge' to the overall story and makes the listening something special as it all unwinds.
