![]() ![]() I also really liked the relationship between Sawako and her parents. ![]() It also gives insight into Ayane's quick thinking and experience as she claims she recognises Kurumi's character and lies in wait to see what she is planning. This volume gives the readers a glimpse of Chizu and Ryu's dynamic strong friendship and casualness. Kurumi then reveals something to Sadako that suddenly lets the reasons for her actions fall into place. ![]() The cute, popular girl who attended the same junior high as Kazehaya and who befriends Sawako in an instant however readers may recognise her from previous volumes and may have a cloud of doubts. Preparation for the sports festival also ensues and things get awkward between Kazehaya and Sawako as she notices her quickened heart beat around Kazehaya. At this point and in the following chapters, Sawako only begins to realise that her 'like' for Kazehaya is different than her 'like' for Ayane and Chizu. Chizu and Ayane are quick to see that Sawako is developing feelings for Kazehaya but (and I'm so grateful for this) they let the relationship take its own course and decide to watch from the sidelines. So this volume follows on from the last Sawako has finally made her first friends and now they're actually doing 'friend-things': hanging out and eating together. Gifs and minor spoilers for this volume too. ![]()
